Nigel Dunnett
As Professor of Planting Design and Vegetation Technology, Nigel Dunnett has together with his colleague Professor James Hitchmough done more in recent years to change the face of public planting in the UK than anybody else. Nigel Dunnett has been researching low-cost, low-maintenance, high-impact planting schemes for public areas. His highly acclaimed planting in the London Olympia Park in 2012 has helped to put his work in the spotlight. Using natives as well as exotics, the pictorial meadow seed mixtures have been highly successful. In this revised edition of his popular book he has been updating some of the earlier work and shares many decades of research. A very practical, well-illustrated book, full of useful information for everybody keen to create easy-to-manage large-scale flower displays.
